About Dice Tattoo
Mike Stapleton founded Dice Tattoo in 2022 in Murray Hill, aiming for a dynamic, creative boutique space. He has tattooed since 2012, starting as a shophand at Ed Hardy's Tattoo City and then apprenticing under Dave Bobrick at One Shot Tattoo, and he has tattooed around the world. His work covers custom blackwork, black and grey, Japanese-inspired pieces, fine line and illustrative tattooing, including large-scale custom projects. Appointments and same day tattoos are both available, walk-ins are welcome, and clients can bring their own designs or use the artists'. The shop has no piercer, and a small shop section sells merchandise. Dice also runs on sustainable supplies, with most of them biodegradable or compostable. It welcomes LGBTQ clients and is a transgender safe space. Rated 5 from 99 Google reviews, 98 of them five stars.
