Monolith Studio is a contemporary tattoo studio in Brooklyn, founded by Okan Uckun and Oscar Akermo, who are known for fine line, micro realism and minimalist work. The roster of resident and guest artists covers fine line, micro realism in black and grey and color, geometric, ornamental, blackwork, botanical, abstract and American traditional tattoos. Every piece is a custom, one-of-a-kind design developed with the client, from consultation through aftercare, and the studio works by appointment and takes clients from across NYC and beyond. It runs a knowledge hub on topics such as the history of fine line tattooing and sells available designs. Artists include Okan Uckun, Amalie Arsinevici and George Kalodimas.
